| Q: |
Why did you apply for the scholarship? |
| A: |
I wanted to have a challenge and I need money to pay the school fee. |
| Q: |
What did they ask you at the interview? |
| A: |
I was asked for details about why I wanted the scholarship, as well how I generally study Japanese when I’m not in school. |
| Q: |
What did you do to prepare for the interview? |
| A: |
I tried to study as much Japanese as I could beforehand, including studying grammar and watching TV programs. I also tried to think about what I might be asked and that helped me a lot. |
| Q: |
How did you use the scholarship? |
| A: |
I will use the scholarship money for paying the school fee, which unexpectedly exceeded the money I loan from Sweden. |
| Q: |
How did receiving a scholarship affect you? |
| A: |
When I found I had received the scholarship, I felt that my motivation for studying Japanese rose more than I imagined. I was so happy and since then, my test grades have become even better than before. |
| Q: |
Any message for the people who are going to apply for scholarships? |
| A: |
I recommend everyone who feels that they have a passion and motivation for studying the Japanese language to apply for the KAI Student Scholarship. It’s a challenge for testing your learnt skills, and a beautiful opportunity to get financial help towards your dreams. |
