Morning Program: Fast-Track Your Japanese Learning
For this year’s summer program, we have prepared a Grammar and Conversation Course to enhance your conversation skills in a fun learning environment! You can achieve a surprising amount of progress in Japanese in a short period of time! Upon completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Participation.

Afternoon Activities: Embrace Tokyo and Japanese Culture!
KAI’s summer course offers a variety of fun and immersive experiences, from Tokyo sightseeing to immersing yourself in Japanese culture. Whether it’s your first time in Japan or you’ve visited multiple times, these activities are designed to delight everyone. Please note registration will close once capacity is reached, even if that is before the deadline. So, we recommend applying early!

| Aug 5 (Wed) | Mizuhiki Decoration Experience Why not try your hand at creating beautiful knots using traditional Japanese decorative cord, “mizuhiki”? This workshop offers a chance to experience the joy of handmade crafts while engaging with Japanese culture. | |
| Aug 6 (Thu) | Traditional Craft Making Try your hand at ‘Edo Kiriko,’ a traditional glass-cutting technique passed down since the Edo period. | |
| 2nd week | Aug 10 (Mon) | Yukata Experience + Summer Festival Wear a yukata and experience Japanese culture by going to a summer festival in downtown Tokyo! *The yukata and dressing are included in the package. After, you can keep the yukata as a gift. |
| Aug 12 (Wed) | Calligraphy Try writing Japanese characters using ink and a brush. You can take your artwork home as a souvenir! | |
| Aug 14 (Fri) | Dinner Cruise Experience Enjoy dinner and the Tokyo night view on a traditional Japanese boat “Yakatabune”! *Dinner on the yakatabune is included in the participation fee. | |
| 3rd week | Aug 18 (Tue) | TeamLab You can experience large-scale works composed of light, sound and movement as you walk through them. Some pieces change in response to your movements, offering a new type of art that everyone can enjoy together. |
| Aug 20 (Thu) | Tea Ceremony Experience +Tokyo National Museum Through a tea ceremony experience in a tranquil space, you will encounter Japanese tradition and graceful etiquette. Afterwards, you will view ancient utensils, kimonos, paintings, Buddhist statues and more at the Tokyo National Museum, learning about Japanese history and culture. | |

Application Process
- Please enter your email address in the web form below. A link to the application form will be sent to your email. Please fill out the form and submit.
- Your level will be determined through an online Japanese level check test. There might be a preliminary interview conducted beforehand in some cases.
- Please make your payment using the following methods. Your seat will be confirmed upon receipt of payment.

Payment from within Japan
You can deposit funds using the following methods:

If you prefer to pay in cash or by credit card, you will need to visit our school in person.
Regarding Cancellations
- Upon confirming the full payment, we will reserve a seat for you in the class.
- For cancellations after course commencement, refunds will not be provided.
- When processing refunds of deposited fees, the school will deduct bank transfer fees from the refunded amount.
- Cancellation fees vary depending on the cancellation date, as outlined in the table to the right:
- Classes may be canceled due to natural disasters such as typhoons or heavy rain.
- In such cases, assignments or alternative submissions will serve as substitutes for missed classes. Refunds due to class cancellation will not be issued.
