KAI Japanese Language School is hiring a few part-time school administrative and reception staff. 

School Administrative Director (Full-time employee)

Location: KAI Japanese Language School (Okubo, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo)

Job description:
Recruitment of students from all over the world, correspondence in English with overseas agents, etc., participation in overseas workshops, immigration application work, student management, supervision and management of administrative staff, and all administrative tasks required to run the school. Opportunities for international business trips are available a few times a year.

Requirements:

  1. Educational history: 4-year university graduate or above.
  2. English: Advanced (TOEIC 850 or higher or CEFR C1 or higher). A level of English proficiency that allows for oral negotiation as well as reading and writing is required.
  3. In case you are a non-Japanese, JLPT N1 or above is required.
  4. Utilization of PC (Mac) and office applications is a must.
  5. Those who can work in Chinese (especially traditional) and European languages (Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, etc.) are also preferred.
  6. Knowledge and experience in marketing and social networking preferred. Those who have experience in administrative and agent support in language schools are most welcome.
  7. Must be a resident of Japan with a work-eligible visa.

School administrative staff (Contract employees, with possible promotion to full-time employees)

Location: KAI Japanese Language School (Okubo, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo)

Job description: Handling calls and mails, student management, making documents, sales support, and all the various work related to school administrative work.

Requirements:

  • Educational history: Junior college graduate or above.
  • Language skills: TOEIC 800 or higher or CEFR C1 or higher or EIKEN Grade Pre-1 or higher. It’s necessary to be able to communicate with our students in English.
  • In case you are a non-Japanese, JLPT N1 or above is required.
  • Basic PC skill (MS Office, exchanging mails, etc)
  • Those who speak Chinese (Traditional) or European languages (Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, etc) are more than welcome!
  • Bright and cheerful. The previous experiences of dealing with clients and studying abroad are a plus. Experience in school administration, especially in Japanese language schools, is preferred.
  • Must be a resident of Japan with a work-eligible visa.
