Admission Application (Student Visa Required)

When would you like to start the course?
How long do you plan to study?
As a general rule, the period of study permitted under a student visa is a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 2 years.
Please note that extending your period of study after enrollment is only possible if space is available.
Please tell us your plans after graduating from KAI.

If currently enrolled, please indicate your expected graduation date.

Have you ever studied Japanese?
Please provide more details about your Japanese study history, such as the duration and how you studied (e.g., self-study, language school, etc.).
Who is your financial sponsor?
A “financial sponsor” is the person who will pay for your tuition and living expenses while studying in Japan. A bank balance of approximately 2,500,000 yen is required for a 1-year course, and approximately 5,000,000 yen for a 2-year course.
Do you have any family or relatives living in Japan?
Class schedules are determined by the school. You cannot choose between morning or afternoon classes. Is that acceptable?
Have you ever applied for a Japanese visa before?
If you answered “Yes,” please select the type of visa.
Has your application for a Japanese visa ever been denied?
If denied, please indicate when and select the type of visa.
Have you contacted a study abroad agency?
In order to assess your application, we may ask you to attend an interview together with your financial sponsor. Are you willing to cooperate with this?
